Aer Lingus announces the launch of its first direct flight to Cancún, Mexico, commencing from January 2026. The new route from Dublin to Cancún will operate 3 times weekly on the airline’s A330-300 aircraft, offering Irish holidaymakers a seamless route to the warmth and vibrant cultural heritage of the Mexican Caribbean. This new direct service, operating from 6 January to 29 April 2026, provides an effortless option for those looking to escape the cold Irish winter months, while avoiding the hassle of long stopovers.

The announcement of this new route comes as Ireland and Mexico mark the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
